Section featuring the best investment practices in the Nizhny Novgorod Region was launched on the regional investment portal

A new section featuring the best practices for investment development in the Nizhny Novgorod Region has been launched on the region’s investment portal: https://nn-invest.ru/climate/practices/.

The section showcases management practices developed in the region and posted on the federal platform “Smarteka”. These are ready‑made tools that have undergone expert assessment and proven their effectiveness in optimizing business processes and creating a favorable environment for investors. These solutions are aimed at comprehensively developing the region’s investment climate, including the introduction of digital project management tools (an investment project management platform, a self‑check service), improving the efficiency of interdepartmental cooperation, simplifying administrative procedures – including those related to connecting to engineering networks (categorization based on connection times for water and heat supply networks) – and attracting investment to municipal territories (development of investment profiles). Each practice includes a detailed description as well as the implementation procedure and results, including the necessary resources and organizations involved in the implementation process.

The digital platform “Smarteka”, developed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to replicate and scale best practices, contributes to the sustainable development of regions and the achievement of National Projects goals. In total, the platform hosts more than 40 practices from the Nizhny Novgorod Region across various areas.

The operation of the investment portal is overseen by the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

We are pleased to share our accumulated experience; the region’s practices are in high demand among our colleagues. The new section on the investment portal will make them even more accessible,” said Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.

On the investment portal, entrepreneurs can access detailed information about the Nizhny Novgorod Region and its municipalities, in particular about available infrastructure and existing support measures in the region, submit an application for selecting a land plot or for investment project support and learn about current investment opportunities and implemented elements of the regional investment standard. The investment map (https://newmap.nn-invest.ru/) currently offers more than 600 territories available for investment.

Additionally, a survey module is available on the investment portal: https://nn-invest.ru/surveys. Using this tool, entrepreneurs can evaluate the regulatory environment, the work of business institutions, infrastructure, and support for small and medium‑sized enterprises.

Moreover, investors always have the opportunity to contact specialists from the Development Corporation via the chatbot integrated into the investment portal or using the contact numbers provided on the portal in the “Contacts” section.
