The territorial managers of the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region began supporting 20 investment projects in the second quarter of 2026

The territorial managers of the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region began supporting 20 investment projects in the second quarter of 2026. These are enterprises in the fields of tourism, agriculture, industry, logistics, and the service sector.

“The role of the territorial managers is to assist investors implementing projects in distant municipalities. Their work is yielding results: the total investment volume for the new projects amounts to 6.2 billion rubles, and the creation of more than 460 jobs is planned. For comparison, in the first quarter of this year, the investment volume for projects amounted to 860 million rubles,” said Artur Batursky, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

With the support of the Development Corporation’s territorial managers, three investment projects in the tourism and food industry sectors were implemented in the municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in the second quarter, as in the first three months of 2026. The total investment volume for these projects amounts to 470 million rubles, and more than 100 jobs have been created.

In addition, the territorial managers held 230 personal consultations for investors and signed four cooperation agreements for the implementation of investment projects in the second quarter.

“The Development Corporation pays considerable attention to work in the municipalities, as their development directly affects the economy of the entire region. Our territorial managers have an excellent understanding of the specifics of each district assigned to them and possess the necessary competencies to resolve any issues related to the implementation of investment projects,” said Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Currently, 228 investment projects are under the supervision of the territorial managers, with a total investment volume of approximately 125 billion rubles. Upon completion of these projects, it is planned to create more than 11,000 jobs.

The plans of the territorial managers for the third quarter of this year include holding meetings with the business community in the municipalities and continuing work on the development of universal investment proposals.

Territorial managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation have been operating in the region since 2022. Each manager is assigned to several districts.
