Nizhny Novgorod Land Relations Council approved land plots for 16 projects worth more than 8 billion rubles
The Council for Land and Property Relations under the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has approved applications for the allocation of land plots for 16 projects. The meeting was held on July 28, 2026.
“Today, we approved 16 investment projects with a total value of 8 billion rubles. Among the largest is the flax fiber production project in the Sharangsky district, worth 2.7 billion rubles. This is a large‑scale project to be implemented in several phases and across several territories: the investor has already received a plot in Shakhunya. It is expected that the enterprise will produce at least 3,000 tons of flax fiber annually. The product will be used in the production of yarn and fabrics,” said Egor Polyakov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The applicant is LLC “Kotonin”. The company plans to create approximately 200 jobs. The project is being supported by the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
“The company is already cultivating long fiber flax in the Tonkinsky district, which guarantees stable operations for the new production facility. It is planned that the enterprise will be launched in the third quarter of 2027. The implementation of the second phase of the project in the Shakhunsky district is also planned. The Corporation’s specialists will provide the investor with all the necessary support until the enterprise is launched,” noted Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Today, the Council also approved applications for land plots for a hotel complex near the exit to the Myzinsky bridge in Nizhny Novgorod, at the intersection of Gagarin avenue and the M‑12 highway (applicant: LLC “Teplovaya Estetika”, plot area: 8,354 sq. m, implementation period: 5 years, investment volume: 300 million rubles), for a workwear production complex in Dzerzhinsk (LLC “Avtodom”, 37,783 sq. m, 5 years, 287.5 million rubles), and for a bakery in Arzamas (LLC “Khlebny Dom”, 2,049 sq. m, 3 years, 64.8 million rubles).
In addition, the Council approved territories for a complex producing metal structure components for the construction industry in the Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod (LLC “Zavod Metallicheskikh Konstruktsiy Avtomash”, 20,606 sq. m, 3 years, 420 million rubles), a complex producing equipment for drilling and micro tunnelling in the Doskino settlement of Nizhny Novgorod (LLC “Diggerpro”, 17,476 sq. m, 4 years, 187.2 million rubles), a complex producing dry concrete mixes in Dzerzhinsk (LLC “Trentvel”, 8,354 sq. m, 3.5 years, 100 million rubles), as well as two plots for a modular buildings production complex in Dzerzhinsk (LLC “Investstroy”, 26,905 sq. m, 3 years, 219.09 million rubles).
“Today, we approved the allocation of territories for a number of major projects; many of them are planned for implementation in the construction industry. There are also projects tailored to the needs of the light industry. The total investment volume exceeds 8 billion rubles, and the total number of jobs to be created is nearly 850,” emphasized Artur Batursky, Chairman of the Land Council and Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Since the beginning of 2026, the Council has approved projects worth approximately 28 billion rubles. More than 2,000 jobs are expected to be created.
