The investment portal of the Nizhny Novgorod Region was visited by more than 36,000 people in the first half of 2026

The investment portal of the Nizhny Novgorod Region was visited by more than 36,000 people in the first half of 2026, which is 5% higher than the figures for the same period in 2025.

Most frequently, visitors of the investment portal viewed the “Investment Projects” page (more than 4,000 visits), the “Cultural Heritage Sites” page (approximately 2,200 visits) and the “Financing Instruments” page (about 1,700 visits). The next most popular sections are “Support Measures”, “Regional Team” and “Development Strategy”.

Updates to the investment portal are carried out on a regular basis. Thus, since the beginning of the current year, information on more than 20 projects in various sectors has been posted in the “Investment Projects” section, the “Financing Instruments” page has been supplemented, and two new sections have been launched: “Cultural Heritage Sites” and “Best Regional Practices”. In the former, users can familiarize themselves with the list of architectural monuments available for investment and subsequent commercialization; in the latter, they can access the regional management practices aimed at improving the investment climate, which have been posted on the federal “Smarteka” platform.

The work of the investment portal of the Nizhny Novgorod Region is overseen by the region’s Development Corporation.

“We pay considerable attention to updating and maintaining the stable operation of the region’s investment portal, thanks to which the website was recognized as the best in the country according to the results of the national award “Leaders of Investment Development‑2025”. It contains all the information necessary to make a decision on project implementation – from general data about the region to the selection of suitable support measures,” said Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.

On the investment portal, entrepreneurs can access detailed information about the Nizhny Novgorod Region and its municipalities, in particular about available infrastructure and existing support measures in the region, submit an application for selecting a land plot or for investment project support and learn about current investment opportunities and implemented elements of the regional investment standard. The investment map (https://newmap.nn-invest.ru/) currently offers more than 600 territories available for investment.

Additionally, a survey module is available on the investment portal: https://nn-invest.ru/surveys. Using this tool, entrepreneurs can evaluate the regulatory environment, the work of business institutions, infrastructure, and support for small and medium‑sized enterprises.

Moreover, investors always have the opportunity to contact specialists from the Development Corporation via the chatbot integrated into the investment portal or using the contact numbers provided on the portal in the “Contacts” section.

For reference, the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation was established on the initiative of Governor Gleb Nikitin. The organization facilitates the implementation of projects at all stages – from providing information about the region and possible support measures, inspecting investment sites, to commissioning the facility – while assuming obligations for interaction with executive authorities, local self‑government bodies, natural monopoly entities, and other organizations.
