Territorial managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation began supporting 89 new investment projects in 2025

Territorial managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation began supporting 89 new investment projects in 2025. These are projects in tourism, agriculture, industry, services, and other sectors. The total investment volume amounts to more than 21 billion rubles, and over 3 300 jobs are expected to be created.

In particular, 12 projects with a total investment volume of approximately 1.7 billion rubles were taken under support in the fourth quarter of 2025, with more than 100 jobs planned to be created.

With the support of the territorial managers of the Development Corporation, 16 investment projects with a total investment volume exceeding 1.8 billion rubles were implemented in the municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in 2025. These include projects in tourism, agriculture, trade, and industry. For example, in the Balakhna district, a production site for manufacturing and servicing light-tonnage and small vessels was opened with the support of the development agency; in Chkalovsk, hotel complex “Legenda” was launched; and in the Sechenov district, a warehouse for agricultural products was opened.

Additionally, the territorial managers held 517 consultations for investors throughout the year and signed 26 cooperation agreements for the implementation of investment projects. Entrepreneurs most frequently approached the Development Corporation’s specialists regarding the selection of state support measures and land plots, as well as assistance in interacting with utility service providers.

“The list of investment projects under the support of territorial managers is being regularly updated, which indicates sustained business activity in the municipalities. Our specialists assist entrepreneurs anywhere in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, regardless of the project scale. Currently, 210 investment projects are under the support of territorial managers, with a total investment volume of about 122 billion rubles. Upon completion, these projects are expected to create over 10 000 jobs.

The territorial managers’ plans for the first quarter of the current year include holding meetings with the business community in the municipalities and continuing to develop universal investment proposals.

The territorial managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation have been operating in the region since 2022. They assist investors implementing projects in municipalities located far from the regional center. Each manager is assigned to several districts.
