«Investor of the Year» award to be presented in the Nizhny Novgorod Region

The Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation, with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Government, will hold the regional competition «Investor of the Year». The aim of the competition is to support the most significant investment projects for the region across various economic sectors, as well as to promote the dissemination of best practices.

«Within the framework of the competition, we will award companies that have made a significant contribution to the development of the economy and human potential of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. We will pay special attention to socially responsible enterprises and production facilities that have implemented innovative solutions in their operations», — emphasised Andrey Sanosyan, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The «Investor of the Year» title will be awarded to a company demonstrating consistent leadership in terms of investment volume and quality, and having implemented strategically important projects for the region.

In the «Best Investment Project» category, three winners will be selected — one in each of the following investment volume categories: from 200 million to 500 million rubles, from 500 million to 1 billion rubles, and over 1 billion rubles.

The award will also be presented in the following categories:

• «Productivity Flagship»;
• «Socially Responsible Investor»;
• «Investments in Human Capital»;
• «Investment Startup»;
• «Investments in Innovation».

«We see that businesses continue to invest in new projects, including in the social sector, despite the tight monetary policy. Such commitment should be encouraged, thereby motivating companies to achieve new milestones», — said Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.
