A new mineral water bottling line is to be launched in Vetluga with the support of the Development Corporation

Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation, Sergey Lavrenov, Head of the Vetluzhsky municipal district, and Ivan Zakharov, Director General of JSC «Vetluzhsky Mineral Water Plant», have signed a cooperation agreement within the project to launch a new mineral water bottling line at the enterprise.

«Boosting investment activity in municipalities, including through the expansion of existing enterprises, is one of the key tasks of the Development Corporation. Supporting local producers is crucial for building a sustainable regional economy. To this end, territorial managers operate in all districts of the region, ready to assist entrepreneurs with any issues they may encounter», – said Igor Ishchenko.

The project will involve an investment of 30 million rubles. The new bottling line will increase the plant’s production capacity by approximately one‑third.

«The launch of the new bottling line will help the enterprise expand its product markets. Thanks to the support from the Development Corporation, this process will be much more comfortable and cost‑effective for the investor», – emphasized Sergey Lavrenov.

Specialists from the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation have consulted the investor on available state support measures. In particular, equipment leasing programs have been selected for the company. «The new line will allow the plant to increase production volumes and create additional jobs. We believe that with the help of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation, we will be able to bring our mineral water to the federal level», – noted Ivan Zakharov.

It should be recalled that since 2022, six territorial managers of the Development Corporation have been operating in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. They assist investors implementing projects in municipalities located far from the regional center. Each manager is assigned to several districts.
