Territorial Managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation commenced support for 32 investment projects in the first quarter of 2025

04.04.2025

Territorial Managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation commenced support for 32 investment projects in the first quarter of 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, territorial managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation began supporting 32 new investment projects with a total investment volume exceeding 13 billion rubles. Upon completion, these projects are expected to create approximately 1,300 jobs across industries including manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and others.

Enhancing investor support and service quality has become one of the key objectives of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2025.

With the assistance of territorial managers, 11 investment projects worth 910 million rubles were implemented in the region’s municipalities, generating 277 new jobs. These projects span tourism, industry, agribusiness, and trade. For example, in the Kulebaki urban district, a facility for fish farming, canned food production, and animal feed processing was modernized.

Additionally, territorial managers conducted 107 consultations for investors and signed 15 cooperation agreements to facilitate project implementation during the quarter.

“The portfolio of projects supported by our territorial managers is constantly evolving – new enterprises launch, and new investors enter the region. This not only reflects their effective work but also underscores the appeal of Nizhny Novgorod’s municipalities for business. Entrepreneurs receive comprehensive support across the region, enabling successful project implementation even in the most remote districts. We pay special attention to small businesses, and our specialists stand ready to assist any company, regardless of investment size,” said Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.

Currently, territorial managers are overseeing 159 investment projects with a combined investment value of 113 billion rubles, expected to create around 8,000 jobs upon completion.

Plans for the second quarter include hosting major business community meetings and further developing standardized investment proposals for potential investors.

Since 2022, six territorial managers from the Corporation have been operating across Nizhny Novgorod Region, assisting investors implementing projects in municipalities distant from the regional center. Each manager is assigned to multiple districts.

Contact details and district assignments are available on the Nizhny Novgorod investment portal: https://nn-invest.ru/en/support/#team.

JSC “Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation” was established on the initiative of Governor Gleb Nikitin. The organization supports projects at all stages – from providing regional information and potential support measures to site inspections and commissioning – while coordinating with executive authorities, local governments, natural monopolies, and other entities.
