Resident of the special economic zone “Kulibin” will be able to place “Made in Kulibin” sign on their products

A special distinguishing sign was developed to be placed on products manufactured by residents of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Kulibin”.

The sign was developed the management company of the “Kulibin” SEZ – the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.

“Our residents manufacture products in various segments. For our part, we are working to create the most favorable conditions for them to conduct their businesses. The special sign “Made in Kulibin” will make it possible for investors to emphasize the high quality of their products, as well as increase recognition in the market of both the products themselves and the Nizhny Novgorod Region as a whole”, noted Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.

Let us recall that the special economic zone “Kulibin” was created in May 2020. In the spring of 2023, its area was increased by 10 times – to 724.7 hectares. In November 2024, an application was submitted for the expansion of SEZ territory, including a site in Bor urban district with an area of ​​126 hectares. Currently, SEZ includes state site (more than 400 hectares), as well as private sites of DPO “Plastik”, “Oka-Polymer” and “Sintez OKA”. To date, 38 companies passed the expert council of the “Kulibin” SEZ.

The preferential conditions of SEZ reduce the profit tax rate for its residents from 25% to 2% in the first 5 years from the moment of receiving the first profit, to 5% in the next 5 years and to 14.5% thereafter, and also establish zero rates for property, land and transport taxes.
