"Investor of the Year"
The "Investor of the Year" competition is an annual event that brings together leading representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod Region’s business community. Its purpose is to recognise the most significant projects that contribute to the region’s investment development, promote innovative solutions, and build a positive investment image for the region.
Project objectives:
- Stimulating investment activity and business initiatives
- Promoting successful investment practices and partnerships with the region
- Supporting innovative and high‑tech projects
- Developing human capital potential and corporate social responsibility
- Enhancing the image of the Nizhny Novgorod Region as an investment‑friendly territory
Competition nominations:
- "Investor of the Year"
- "Best Investment Project" (200-500 million rubles, 500 million – 1 billion rubles, over 1 billion rubles)
- "Productivity Flagship"
- "Socially Responsible Investor"
- "Investments in Human Capital"
- "Investment Startup"
- "Investments in Innovation"
Eligibility criteria for the competition:
Organizations carrying out investment activities within the Nizhny Novgorod Region are eligible to participate in the competition. This includes large companies, small and medium‑sized businesses, investment funds, private investors, and other entities implementing significant investment projects.

Requirements for participants:
- State registration on the territory of the Russian Federation
- No decision on reorganisation, liquidation, or bankruptcy of the organisation in effect
- No tax debts, fees, or other mandatory payments to the budgets of the Russian Federation’s budgetary system as of the beginning of the calendar year in which the application is submitted
- The organization must meet the selection criteria for the relevant nomination
