New Hotel to be developed in Vetluga with the support from Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation

Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation, Sergey Lavrenov, Head of the Vetluga municipal district, and individual entrepreneur Olga Yumakova signed a cooperation agreement for the development of a hotel in Vetluga.

“We held our first negotiations on creating a new hotel during a roundtable on tourism development held in Vetluga in May of this year. The northern part of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has significant tourism potential, so the Corporation, together with entrepreneurs, is actively working to develop this sector. We will provide the investor with necessary support at all stages of project implementation, and the district will receive a new comfortable accommodation facility for guests,” said Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.

The investment volume of the project will amount to 45 million rubles. The hotel will be located in a historic building in the city center. Additionally, a restaurant serving XIX-century Russian cuisine is planned. The project implementation is scheduled for 2026-2028.

The Development Corporation specialists consulted the investor on available state support measures, clarified restrictions related to protective zones of cultural heritage sites, and organized interaction with authorities.
