Over 50 investors selected land plots using Nizhny Novgorod Region's Investment Map

Over the past four years, more than 50 investors have selected land plots for their projects using the investment map of Nizhny Novgorod Region. The map's operation is overseen by the region's Development Corporation.

Most frequently, entrepreneurs use the digital service to select "greenfield" sites (without existing infrastructure). These plots are intended for projects in agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, and tourism. For example, the following companies have selected land plots using the investment map: LLC "Alliance-NN" (distribution center), LLC "RusMashService" (agricultural machinery dealership), LLC "Egg-Land" (egg production and processing complex) and LLC "A-ServisStal" (profiled sheet manufacturing).

"The investment map allows entrepreneurs to select a suitable land plot that meets their future enterprise's needs at the conceptual stage. They can also review surrounding infrastructure and contact our territorial managers assigned to the district where the site is located," said Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.

The interactive regional investment map (https://newmap.nn-invest.ru) is a bilingual (Russian and English) public map of Nizhny Novgorod Region containing such information as investment sites, real estate properties, existing Territories of Advanced Development (TADs) and Special Economic Zones (SEZs), transport infrastructure, mineral resources and support measures. Additionally, the map integrates a cadastral layer as an additional feature.

Currently, the investment map contains information on over 460 investment sites.

The map was developed in compliance with the Regional Investment Standard – a system for creating favorable business conditions in the region. Its components include investment declaration, development agency, investment committee, investment map, as well as a set of investment rules outlining the investor's "client journey".

The standard aims to optimize interactions between investors, authorities, and utility providers while reducing project implementation timelines. To date, all elements of the investment standard have been implemented in the region.

The Nizhny Novgorod Region Investment Map was recognized as the best in Russia at the "Leaders of Investment Development-2024" national awards.

JSC "Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation" was established on the initiative of Governor Gleb Nikitin. The organization supports projects at all stages—from providing regional information and potential support measures to site inspections and commissioning—while coordinating with executive authorities, local governments, natural monopolies, and other entities.
