A new mineral water bottling line is to be launched in Vetluga with the support of the Development Corporation
Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation, Sergey Lavrenov, Head of the Vetluzhsky municipal district, and Ivan Zakharov, Director General of JSC «Vetluzhsky Mineral Water Plant», have signed a cooperation agreement within the project to launch a new mineral water bottling line at the enterprise.
«Boosting investment activity in municipalities, including through the expansion of existing enterprises, is one of the key tasks of the Development Corporation. Supporting local producers is crucial for building a sustainable regional economy. To this end, territorial managers operate in all districts of the region, ready to assist entrepreneurs with any issues they may encounter», – said Igor Ishchenko.

A career opportunities section for SEZ «Kulibin» has been added to the site
The Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation has updated the website of special economic zone (SEZ) «Kulibin»: https://sezkulibin.ru/en. Now users have access to a section dedicated to career opportunities provided at the site.
Prospective employees can review the working conditions in the special economic zone and explore open vacancies. At the moment, resident enterprises have more than 90 open positions in various sectors: engineers and chemists of various specializations, apparatus operators, fitters and other professions available for both entry‑level specialists and experienced employees.
In addition, quick tests are available for high school students and university students, which help users identify their professional preferences and career interests.

Territorial managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation launched support for 23 investment projects in Q3 2025
In the third quarter of 2025, territorial managers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation began supporting 23 new investment projects across 10 municipalities in the region – more than in the second quarter. These projects span tourism, agriculture, service sectors and others. The total investment volume amounts to around 4 billion rubles, with plans to create over 500 jobs.
With the support of the Development Corporation’s territorial managers, two investment projects were implemented in Nizhny Novgorod Region municipalities during Q3, with a total investment volume exceeding 192 million rubles. These include projects in agriculture and tourism.
Additionally, territorial managers conducted 174 consultations for investors and signed seven cooperation agreements for investment project implementation over the past quarter.

Landscaping of the «Technopark H₂O» territory has begun in SEZ «Kulibin»
Landscaping work has commenced at the «Technopark H₂O» site within the special economic zone (SEZ) «Kulibin» in Dzerzhinsk. Employees of the site’s management company – the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation – planted the first trees. In total, around 20 maples and spruces are scheduled to be planted on the territory.
Overall, the construction readiness of «Technopark H₂O» exceeds 90 %. Currently, finishing works, installation of utility networks, and assembly of the entrance group are underway at the facility.
The technopark’s infrastructure will include an innovation and technology center to support resident development, laboratory spaces, a conference hall, and a meeting room. The total area exceeds 8 000 sq. m, with approximately 6 000 sq. m available for resident placement.

The Russian Government has approved the expansion of SEZ «Kulibin» in the Nizhny Novgorod Region
The Interdepartmental Working Group on the establishment and development of special economic zones, headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, has approved the expansion of special economic zone (SEZ) «Kulibin» in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. In addition to production facilities, a river port is planned to be created there. A decree on the territory expansion has already been prepared.
SEZ «Kulibin» will incorporate a site in the city of Bor with a total area of 117.7 ha. As a result, the total area of SEZ «Kulibin» will reach 842 hectares, representing an increase of over 15 %. Ten companies operating in metalworking, logistics, and the agro‑industrial sector have signed letters of intent to implement investment projects on this territory.

The overall completion rate of the Ice Palace at Strelka in Nizhny Novgorod stands at around 97 %
At the construction site, finishing works for public spaces and sub‑tribune areas are nearing completion. Final finishing has been completed on over 90 % of the areas. Facade installation work on the arena has exceeded 95 % completion. The installation of engineering equipment, as well as on‑site and internal utility networks, is nearing completion. Landscaping of the adjacent territory has been carried out on over 90 % of the area.
«At present, most of the construction work at the facility has either been completed or will be finished shortly. Expert Council for SEZ «Kulibin» development approves four projects with over 3.5 billion rubles in total investment
The Expert Council for the development of special economic zone (SEZ) «Kulibin», located in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region, has approved four projects aimed at establishing production facilities in the construction, food, petrochemical, and automotive industries. The meeting was chaired by Andrey Sanosyan, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
«To date, the SEZ Expert Council has approved 49 projects with a total investment volume exceeding 148 billion rubles.
